Steven Miller, CO-Founder and Chief Researcher

Steven Miller is the co-founder and Chief Researcher of Piocent Labs, which he co-founded in 2023 at University of Minnesota prior to pursuing a Master of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies at DePaul University. Steven's research focuses on the role of women and minorities in business as well as social and political movements of the 1960s and 1970s. He did his undergraduate and PhD in history at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, specializing in United States social and political history in the mid twentieth century. Steven is a scholar of the Nixon administration and the Vietnam War era.

As a PhD student, Steven taught HIST 1811 The Sixties: History and Memories, a University of Minnesota undergraduate course in the Department of History. Steven was given overwhelmingly positive feedback from his students for his teaching methods. 

Immediately prior to attending DePaul, Steven spent two semesters in the Department of History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he did archival research which analyzed University documents related to social and political movements during the Vietnam War and the Nixon Administration led or organized by students and faculty of UW-Madison.
